There's one document that I know of that mentions Keeling, Rhea/Rea and Hooten:

Smith County, TN Court Minutes 1819-1821

p. 410 - Aug. 19, 1820 - James H. Britton vs A. Keeling
On motion of the defendant by this attorney a commission is awarded him to take the deposition of John Hooten and his wife, Gatewood Rhea and his wife. Giving the plaintiff ten days notice of the time and place of taking the same, also the plaintiff to take deposition of Wm. Branon, Sr. and William Turnbull. Giving the defendant five days notice of the time and place of taking the same.
