I have found on the site "http://lawsondna.org/Media/virginiacounties/Norfolk.html" an extract of the will of Adam KEELING dated 25 April 1683, Lower Norfolk County.
The transcription contains this part:
… unto my son John KEELING that plantation or tract of land he now lives on being about 1,400 acres, formerly belonging unto my father-in-law John MARTIN…
My opinion is this "father-in-law" should be a "brother-in-law".
Is there anybody in your wonderful country in position to check on the original ?
Hello from overseas.
