Sharon. The Isaac Keels I have was born 1/14/1828 and served in the Civil War and was a major in the SC militia after the war. He was a merchant in Lynchburg and married Sarah L. Richbourg. There was another Isaac, cousin to Major Isaac, who was born in 1819. I know nothing more on him. Could he be the one who ended up in Ala. and TX? One correspondent told me the Isaac Keels who went to Henry Co. Ala was from the family of John, SR. in Sumter Co Ala. This Isaac married a Crow woman. Hopw this helps.
