Lori- My name is Hunter Keels- My father is Robert Keels, his father was Virgil Keels, I am also aware of the change of our names from mckeel to keel and finally keels. We have alot of distant relatives in southern ohio, around portsmouth and chilicothe- my parents reside in columbus ohio. We went to a reunion some time ago and recieved a book that outlines our lineage back to a Moses and Abra Mckeel. Other names I can recall right now are William "Sub" Keels, and other last names connected to our tree are harris and ragland- but the keels name is the commonality. I have seen some people making posts on here about a plantation owned by a james keels in georgia- this site is facinating.
