1. the James who died circa 1737 and was the father of John, Nicholas, Jeane/Jane, Frances, Anne and James
2. the James who died circa 1760 and was the father of Anastasia, Mary, Jane, James, John, Sarah, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Francis, and William
3. yet another James?
