Keene Family DNA From England
Posted by: Michael Scrape (ID *****5956) Date: November 28, 2009 at 11:45:20

I am searching for the parents of James D. Keene who was from England born about 1790. During the War of 1812 James was a member of the Kings Navy and came to America. James married about 1817. Sometime after the birth of his first child in 1818 James learned of his father passing away so James Returned to England to claim his inheritance. James had change his surname to Scrape. I have had my DNA tested in order to confirm this story and my DNA matches that of the Keene Family. My hope is to find who James descended from.Any help would be appreciated. There are seven or eight generations of Scrape relatives living in America since James arrived. We would like to be able to find the connection back to our Keene cousins. Thanks Michael
