I've been looking at the 1850 and 1910 Census and it said Thomas E. Keen married to Nancy Keen (nee Estabrooks) was born in New Brunswick in the 1850 and in the 1910 it said Maine, and married to a Susen. They seem to be the same Thomas Keen, I just went with the 1850 Census birth place as it's the earlier record and closer to the time when he was born.
Here are screen caps, for his birthplace on the original record it has a quotes (") denoting that the birthplace is the same as the person above, which is New Brunswick, the birth place of his mother Nancy:
