Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Natasha: You may have this info already. Carlton Francis Keep was born 2 Jul 1890, died 7 Feb 1912. Married Sarah Backus, born Illinois. She married a second time to Roy Stichter. Had one child surname Keep, Paul LeRoy, b. 13 Jan. 1912.

Carlton's father was Frank Elijah Keep, b. 8 Sep 1855 in Keepville, Pa., m. 2 Nov 1881 to Ida May Kline of Cambridge, IL. b. 30 May 1863. They moved to Cavour, S. D., in Dec. 1884 and returned to Keepville remaining until the spring of 1887 when they again moved to Hendley, NE. In 1892 he moved to Hull, Iowa where he resided in 1899.

Frank's father was Abner Newton Keep.

Please write me at one of my addresses, bobwarnerweb at gmail dot com if you get this message so I will know that you saw it. Thanks.

I rather suspect that Gail Snyder has already provided info like this, and whatever she said has to be right.

If you have more questions, I can take the line back to John Keep of Longmeadow, and can tell you about all of their relatives, or where you can find them yourself.

Bob Warner
