Tammie -
I have the book "John Keep of Longmeadow, Massachusetts, " 1660-1676, and His Descendants," compiled by Frank E. Best and published in 1899. Neither Iscar Keep nor Benjamin Cole is mentioned in the book. I am so sorry to be a "dead end," for your question. Many of the Keep descendants went to Homer, NY, if that's at all helpful. I haven't checked a map to see if Homer and Winfield are anywhere near each oher. I'd be happy to make copies of parts of the book if that would be of any help. In the introduction to the book it says,"While the birthplace and parentage of our ancestor, John Keep, is as yet unknown, some data gathered regarding the Keep name in England may be of interest." It lists the wills, beginning in 1529, of some of the earliest recorded Keeps in England in Northamptonshire, Devonshire, Berkshire and London. There is also a Keep Coat of Arms, described in the book.
Let me know if I can be of further help.
