An English Keep family

My mother was born Catherine Audrey Keep in 1923. This is all the information I have gleaned on her family. The earliest Keep is, John, born circa 1805, died 7 February 1874, married, Ellen, born 1801, died 7 September 1888.
Their son James Charles Keep, born 2 February 1838 near Reading Berkshire, died 12 August 1898 and was married to Mary, born circa 1840, Winchester, Hampshire, died 29 November 1917. James and Mary had at least five children, their eldest known son was also named James Charles Keep, born 5 March 1863 in Paddington, London. There were two brothers Earnest born circa 1871 and Edwin, born circa 1873. The two sisters were Annie, born 1875 and Ada born 1879.
James Charles (2nd) Keep married Julia Smale of Toxteth Park, Liverpool, and had three sons Francis (Frank), William (Bill), and Harold Ernest Keep, my Grandfather, born 5 September 1893 on the Isle of Wight, where his father was a serving soldier with the Oxfordshire Light Infantry. James Charles also had a daughter, Doris Keep who married a ? Robertson of Florida USA and had a son Gerald and a daughter?
Francis (Frank) was married to Marjorie and had a son John (lives in Devonshire and has 3 sons). William (Bill) married Nell and had two sons Neville and Leslie. My mother has a sister Jacqueline.
I have no idea where John came from but notice that other keep families in this forum seem to have connections with Berkshire and my mother has a faded memory that indicates a connection with Wiltshire, in particular the vale of Pewsey. Any information on this branch of the Keep family would be welcome.
