Undoubtably, your line and mine are related. The location and repeated given names are enough proof of that. I have mostly backed up in time there in WV, so am not sure about your John. He certainly could be named for my John Fetter married to Susanna Keesecker in 1828, though the name John is seen often enough in the Keesecker. The state is Virgina in 1831 and becomes West Virgina as punishment from particpation in the Civil War in 1867. George is also a repeat name. If you can locate any will for the family from this time, it can be especially helpful if it states relationships. But the north did burn the courthouse (records) during the war, yet it was reconstructed from family records in the community and it exists in a few places. If you look about, it may contain something helpful. I have never seen the will book of records, but was helped by a volunteer that had access. I think it may have been at a Berkeley County Historical Society.
