SCOTLAND NECK -- Grace Wynn Keeter, 73, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2003. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hope Free Will Baptist Church of Scotland Neck with Rev. Billy Poteat officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery.
Keeter was a member of Hope Free Will Baptist Church and a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Claude Eugene "Dan" Keeter; a daughter, Betty K. Howell and husband Drew of Scotland Neck; sons, Cecil Eugene Forehand and wife Ellen of Pinetops, Alton Ray Keeter and wife Carolyn of Scotland Neck; sisters, Frances Whifield of Bethel, Rosie Williams and Faye Modlin, both of Jamesville; brothers, Rufus Wynn of Dunn, Robert Wynn and Clarence "Tom" Wynn, both of Williamston, William Wynn and Larry Wynn, both of Robersonville, Louis Wynn of Pantego and Jeffrey Wynn of Bear Grass; grandchildren, Duke Forehand, Kathy Macaulay and Daniel Howell; great-grandchildren, Katelyn Forehand, Cole Macaulay; step grandchildren, Terry Quinn and Jackie Wishall; step-great-grandchildren, Hunter Wishall, Haley Wishall and Darby Quinn.

The family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 p.m. today at Hope Free Will Baptist Church and other times at the home 1508 Church St., Scotland Neck.
