Hi Ben,
Walter's middle name is Bailey, a name he seem to use alot. When he reg. for the WWI 5 Jun 1917, he said he was single and living in Austin,Travis Co. and worked for the RR. Denton Co. was a pretty good distance from Austin. But in the actual 1920 census, he is listed a Bailey in the household of his parents in Dimmit Co. Dimmit is SW of San Antonio, and again a good distance from Denton. Have no idea how they met.
