In the Hertiage of Walker County Alabama list William Sr. wife as Catherine (Brown) Keeton. William Sr. did not have a will but in the papers from his estate list only Catherine Keaton. My line is from Archibald, William Jr. and Reuben's brother. This Reuben did move to Walker County. Estate paper that states Reuben Keaton of Walker County Alabama gives Archibald rights to act as his attorney in the matter of William Sr. death and estate. I have all estate papers from Anderson County SC. William Jr did also have a son name Reuben. He died in the Battle of Gaines Mill in Va during the Civil War. This is written on his tombstone. Also states he is the son of William and Rachel Keaton. William Jr's Reuben is buried at Ebenezer Methodist Church outside of Anderson SC. This Reuben also has some children buried there also. Sons Robert R and James W. Keaton.
