Sorry to be so slow in responding. I was checking some more records for my source.

Like I said in the original post Joan, all I have is a page in a spiral notebook where my mother had the names listed. I have no idea where she got them and she passed away in 1982. There are only 2 of her generation still alive and they don't know (or remember) either.

The marriage record I have comes from the (huge) Keever Family Bible that was given to my g-grandmother, Alice Bell, by my g-grandfather, James Bradford, in 1881. Marriage records in Wilkes Co. or Alexander Co. don't confirm it, but records are lost.

I'm sure the key to the family exists if I can find it. I have pictures that go way back. Mother's family were big into pictures. There are even a few tin-types.

Maybe we have a family tie here. Maybe not. I'll keep checking. I've saved your email address in case I find anything.
