My husband's 4th g-Grandfather was Robert Keever. His grandmother, Marian Jean Smoker Cummings gave me the following information on this family. Robert Keever died 28 May 1869 and was married to Anna ? who died 8 Feb 1864. Their daughter Margaret M Keever was born 28 Jun 1823 and died 26 May 1899. She was married to Felix Garver Smoker. These families are from the Mifflin County, PA area. It appears to be the same family you are looking for. Do you show any other children besides George? I have not started any significant searching for this family yet. Tenetatively, I have found a Robert listed on the Derry Twp, Mifflin County PA Federal Census for 1830, 1850 and on 1860. I have not pulled any of these census yet.
