Hi! I have a Joseph Keever (my great-great grandfather) who was born in Jefferson Co., Ohio, in 1817. Later moved to Morgan Co., Ohio, Center Twp., where he farmed and had 11 children of which 8 survived. Also in Morgan County, Ctr Twp, at that time was William Keever, who was born in Jefferson Co., in 1804. I've always felt they're brothers or related somehow. I'm in contact with a descendent of William living in Calif., but he doesn't know how we're connected for sure either. I found a John and a Jacob Keever in the 1820 and 1830 Ohio Censuses. But don't know which would be my Joseph's father. (An interesting, possibly related note: I found a Phillip Keever in 1809 Ohio tax records; what's his connection, if any, to John & Jacob? Deb
