I would like to thank Miles for taking the initiative and introducing us to Kehoe DNA testing. It was his post to this board that triggered my interest. I recently received the results of the basic 12 marker test for my Kehoe line. Now, there are four of us! The prospect of a Kehoe Project is very exciting and I hope you will consider joining us and have your Kehoe line tested.
Like Miles, I used Family Tree DNA. I applied for my kit and it was received promptly. I am my Kehoe family researcher and female. The test must be taken by a male so my brother agreed and he was tested. On Wednesday, April 1st the completed sample DNA kit was received at Family Tree and on April 20th the results were posted. That is very fast, just over two weeks for results once the kit was received.
I hope you will investigate the possibility further and see the benefits of DNA testing and join us.
