I would be most interested in finding out more details about your great grandparents and their children/all of them, not just the ones who settled in Michigan. I will be doing a pilgrimage to Ireland in May to find my great grandfather's roots (James Joseph Kehoe, b. circa 1833 Ireland, emigrated to US in 1861, came to Wisconsin and d. 1916 Glenmore,Brown ., WI US).
As another responder to you in this forum (T.Held), I am trying to connect my James Kehoe with Denis Kehoe (son of John and Bridget Kehoe, b. 1833 to 1942 in Ireland, emigrated 1861, d. 1897 Wisconsin. In addition to Denis and James, William Kehoe b. 1814 Ireland, emigrated to US 1848, settled in Brown Co., WI and d. 1871; Anastasia Kehoe b. about 1789 in Ireland, d. 1866 in town of Eaton, Brown, WI.
These four Kehoes all came from Ireland, emigrated 1848-1861 and seemed to come directly to Brown County, WI, likely to be with family.
Your information would help me to sort out Kehoes from Co. Wexford, while I search. And perhaps I might find something for you too.
