Doris, my name is Norma DeClue and I have some Kiefer Family Tree history for you.I will start with my husband his name was John Francis DeClue, he is the son of Francis Raymond DeClue and Lillian Agnes Keifer.They also had 3 daughters together:Grace(Mrs Delbert Lewis)Rose(Mrs Elmer Sansoucie)and Catherine DeClue.Lillian also had a daughter by a previous marriage to Ollie Sims, her name was Thelma Sims. Lillian was born on June 7, 1900 in St. Genevieve Mo. She was the only child of Francis Bartholomew Keifer and Mary Elizebeth Kenabb.Mary Elizebeth parents were Lucian Kenabb and Otillia Brewer. Francis Bartholomew Keifer was born Nov. 4, 1873 in St. Genevieve Mo. He married on Aug 22,1899. Francis was the son of Bartholomew Keifer and Agatha Kreitler
they were both born in Baden Germany. Bartholomew was born May 28, 1825 Agatha was born 3 Feb,1832, they married in 1850 in St. Louis Mo. They had 8 children:Frank :Joseph: Severin: Elizebeth(Mrs. Val Gisi) Theresa(Mrs Frank Bauman) Christine:Barbara(Mrs H. Bauman) Anna(Mrs W Schlueter).Mr Keifer came to America in 1848. In 1851 they moved to St. Genevieve County. Bartholomew died in River aux Vases near St. Geneive Mo on March 2 1900. Agatha died in River aux Vases on November 3 1898.This as far back as I have been able to go so far.
