I'm helping a friend research her Keisel family in the Philadelphia area. Do you have a connection to James H. Keisel or his son John H. Keisel married to Annie Victoria Koch? They both died when their son Victor Henry was very young.
Victor Henry Keisel was 6 years old living with his maternal grandparents, Charles R. Koch and Caroline? (Don't know maiden name). Source: 1900 Census Philadelphia Co., PA.
1880 Census Philadelphia Co., PA shows Annie Victoria Koch age 15. On the 1870 Census Schuylkill Co. PA she is shown as Victoria age 5.
So glad I found both yours and Gary's messages posted.
We are looking for a direct line to the Revolutionary War on the Keisel or Koch lines.
Good luck on your research.
