The link to the 1850 census transcript is from the TNGenweb Jackson County site > http://www.tngenweb.org/jackson/http://www.tngenweb.org/jackson/
In case you ever want to go further back into the past of your William Keith, he and his family are recorded as far back as the 1830 Jackson County census as their own household. Another point... there was also a William Hiram (Hyram) Keith in Jackson Co. at the same time. William Hiram, for the first time dropped his first name for the 1850 census where he is recorded as just Hyram Keith. It was Hyram that I traced to Ohio County, Ky in 1875.
