The William KEITH whose land in Upper Makefield, Bucks Co., PA, was used by George Washington for a camp was born 1714 in Ireland, and died 1781 in PA. I can't say where William of Russell Co., VA came from. It is said that he was born ca 1790 in Franklin Co., VA and moved to Russell Co. about 1815, but I have heard from at least one researcher who claims he was born in PA.
