Hello all Kelling's. This is a line of Kelling's that have had several reunions in past years. Our oldest ancestor that we can find is Hans/ John/ Joachim Kelling. He came to the United States in 1872 and settled in Iowa. I am not sure that I have his name correct, but in several documents these different names appear. We who have been gathering at different places are ancestors of his son Frederick who setted in Kodaka, South Daktoa. Frederick had 8 daughters and one son . The eight daughters started the reunions and their children have been having them since the last of the daughters, my mother Rosemary, died in 1999, The last one we had was in Park City, Utah. If you think you might be related take a look at the KelingReunion.com site. We would really like to find our great great grandfather and on back. Mary Lou Reed
