Eileen! So good to hear from you! I ran across Dorothea's name a couple months ago while doing some research for another member of our group. It was in the 1992 Suppl to the Passenger and Immigration Lists Index (authors Filby & Meyer). My notes just show Dorothea arriving in NY in 1853. They show an Ernestine arriving in 1851 (a sister maybe?)
Anyway, I'm glad you've added your name to our ever-growing list of Kelling researchers. We look forward to the day when some of us can make a connection.
