Kelling, and certainly Koch, may be common German surnames, but familiar combos always catch my eye. Families stuck together; looked for familiarity; and married within communities. Sure, we recognise this as a marriage within the expatriate German community. But could it be even more - a marriage within an extended family community ie cousins. Who knows, but my heart jumped when I first saw the Kelling/Koch combo. We live in hope!
