... I always thought Kellis is a Greek surname in the first place! I know 4-5 families in Greece, most coming from the (now) Turkish land facing the Aegean sea (Greek islands).

..The double 'l' in Kellis (Κέλλης) occurs due to the language.

..are we really that many?
