On a recent(sept 2000) visit to Safi, Morocco I visited the catholic cemetery and found various Kellner gravestones. I made enquiries and there was a mention of a Margaret(or Maragarethe?)Kellner. However, I do believe that she was alive quite recently , in which case not your Margaret- but perhaps a relative nevertheless. A Zino(Italian) girl married a Kellner in Safi. This Margaret had a sister by the name of Anne(or Anna)-died a few years ago in Safi.I feel that anyone not a moslem or arab was probably buried in the catholic church in the absence of any other non moslem cemetery. This probably means that if one is a lutheran, protestant or whatever it would nevertheless be reasonable not to exclude the possibility of finding answers in the wrong cemetetery!
