Welcome Kellow Family Members!!

Welcome Everyone,

Well, we finally got a Kellow Forum. I tried several times in the last year to get one up and going, but this is the first time it worked I guess. I welcome comments and stories from any Kellow descendants. Maybe with some teamwork, we can link ourselves back to England or to another Family line.

There's a generally-accepted book of history on the Killough Family (see that Forum) which places a couple of Kellow and Killow and Kellough lines as descendants of the Killoughs. That may be true, but I've recently seen a little history on the Kello Family of Southampton Co., VA, mid to late 1700's, that suggests they came from England as "Kello's" and didn't derive from the 1600's Killoughs of PA.

If anyone has more on these lines, especially the Kello folks, it would be interesting to know if we Kellows derive from them. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to seeing what happens! I'll post what I know about my line in another message.
