Thank you so much, this does help. Apparently this was a 2nd marriage for Elizabeth Ridley (Brown) Taylor, who was previously married to Kitchen Taylor and had daughter Sarah Taylor who married Osborn Jeffreys 3 Jun 1778 in Caswell Co. North Carolina, who had son Osborn Jeffreys who married Jane Love Miller, 1 Mar 1806 in Person County, North Carolina, had son James Osborn Speir Jeffrey (also known as Osborn Jeffrey Jr.) who migrated to Smith Co. Tenn. and left a will there in 1822, dying before his father did.
James' daughter, Sarah Taylor Jeffreys married John M. Smith in Smith Co. Tenn...1822 or so, and migrated with her brother John A. M. Jeffreys to Yalobusha County, MIssissippi, her husband John M. Smith died c. 1848-9, and she remarried Willialm Bird Brooks, later seperated from him. She is buried in Goshen Cemetery under her previously married name S.E. Smith.
******
Thank you for posting the marriage for Elizabeth R. Ridley and William Kellow.
