Thomas Kellow Will 1740's MD - 1834 TN

I finally got a chance to look at a reference book that contained a "name source" of the Williamson County, Tennessee Will Book #5. Here's the entry that names Thomas Kellow's children and wife (living ones mentioned in the Will).

Thomas Kellow Will dated 16 July 1833, probated July term 1834.

wife: Lelia R. Kellow (should be "Celia" - Ross Kellow)
sons: Thomas (H.) Kellow, Hezekiah, Presslie Jones (is Jones his middle name?), and William
daughters: Celia R. Ann Jobe, Elizabeth A. Harrison
executor: Lelia R. Kellow (Celia)
witness: Thomas H. Wilkinson, Hezekiah Hill

I suppose it take an actual trip to the County Courthouse to get a copy of the actual Will, if possible at all. One noticeable person missing is Arthur Kellow. I've always thought he was a brother to Thomas H. but he's not here. He was definitely alive in 1834 - he married Frances Neeley in 1836. Arthur could be an early son of Hezekiah or William.

Other Williamson County miscellaneous records include:

1 - Hezekiah Kellow was deposed in a Williamson County trial (State vs. Cyrus Giles). Hezekiah gave a deposition of an event he witnessed in Hardin County in October 1828.

2 - A "Mrs. Kellow" died in the poor house in April 1851 and the county had to pay someone to build her coffin.

3 - Williamson County marriages:

Elias Lampkin to Sallie E. Kellow 12/30/1868
David Halfacre to Isabella Kellow 3/11/1866
A.J. Kellow to Martha Sledge 1/25/1872
Zachariah T. Kellow to Nancy M. Hughes 9/28/1868
Albert H. Warren to Melvina Kellow 12/12/1875
Thomas B. Kellow to Eliza Sampkins 1/5/1837
Arthur Kellow to Frances Neely 12/8/1836
Thomas H. Kellow to Sarah Ann Vaughn 11/30/1837
Robert Vaughn to Celia Kellow 12/21/1836
Samuel "Kellor" to Arman P. Neely 12/27/1846
Ransom L. Hubbard to Susan Kellow 1/7/1838

4 - A Martha "Killow" was mentioned as a widowed daughter Jane Dobbins in the Dobbins will. (no date)

5 - Williamson Death Records:

Martha Jane Sledge Kellow (wife of A.J. Kellow) died 1/20/1923 age 70 yrs., 2 mos., 3 days. Born TN, buried Sledge Graveyard, father John Sledge of TN, mother Mary Allen of TN - informant Mrs. W.L. Fly of Brentwood, TN.

Nat. J. Kellow died at Nolensville, b. 11/17/1837, died 2/22/1915, buried Waller Cemetery, Davidson County, TN. Father William Kellow (son of Thomas - see Will above), mother Fannie Nuby, informant Thomas Waller.
