Good to hear from you again. I just wanted to let you know that I haven't figured out where Henry came from yet. He certainly lived near Thomas Kellow's son William, who was in Sullivan and Washington County before 1830 and William was even near the Snapps. BUT, William was too young I believe to be Henry's father. And, Henry doesn't seem to fit Thomas Kellow's other sons either.
I finally got a copy of Thomas' father's will - Thomas Hyde Kellow. Thomas who came to Tennessee definitely had a brother named John Kellow that died in the 1780's, so there's another potential Kellow line that Henry could have come from. Maybe Henry was a nephew of Thomas' (rather than a son or grandson) and came along to TN since his father died early. I have requested (from the MD State Archives) copies of the wills of John Kellow who died 1780's in MD and another John Hyde "Kelloe" who died in the 1760's in Maryland. I'll sure post the details of those when they come in.
