My name is Samantha, i live in NSW (although many would say where i live is in the ACT). I have always been interested in my geneology and have often wondered where exactly my roots originated. I may be young but i'm passionate about this.
All that my parents have told me is that i have predominately Welsh ancestors and that an ancestor of mine came to Australia on the First Fleet as a luitenant. The Kellow line runs on my father's side and the furthest back i know is my Great-grandad, his name was Francis Joseph Kellow. He married Iris Minnie Le Guire and before he died he lived in Bunbury Western Australia.
At the moment all i have to work on is a 'World Book of Kellows' which my Grandad gave to my father last year from the International Registry. I was amazed by how many other Kellows there were out there all over the world, and that was only the ones which were registered, there are probably hundreds more out there that aren't. I had always seen Kellow as a less common surname, i see now that i was very wrong. It was this registry which made me finally seek answers to my questions.
I know this isn't much to work on but any help would be great! Thanx a lot
