We are trying to trace relatives of a 23-year-old airman shot down in Belgium during the Second World War, because we would like to invite them to attend our commemoration on June 2013.

Squadron Leader (Pilot) Dermot Daly Aloysius Kelly (Killed in action 16/17th June 1941 with Wellington N2849 from 103 Squadron)
Son of  Brigadier Denis Patrick Joseph Kelly, O.B.E., M.C., and of May Agnes Kelly (nee Dillon-Doyle), of Barnes, Surrey.(England, UK)

We found the marriage annonce from his brother:

The Times London May 6, 1944 Forthcoming Marriage.
Wing Commander D.P. Kelly and Miss McCartan-Mooney.
The engagement is announced between Wing Commander D.P. Kelly D.F.C.
Son of Colonel D.P. J. Kelly, O.B.E., M.C. and Mrs. Kelly 33, Palmerston Place, Edinburgh,(UK)  and W. McCartan-Mooney, Menloe, Merrion Road. Dublin. (Ireland)

For details see website

Kind Regards,

Noel Van Elsen.
