Thank you, Tom. Could be the right Mary Peoples. Mine was born in VA and married Andrew J. Hannah before 1802, the year Nancy Ellen Hannah was born in Greene Co., TN. My Mary had a son Nathan (my ancestor) and a daughter Margaret. Margaret is a Hannah family name, but Nathan is not. I believe Mary died around 1828, as Andrew remarried in 1829.

My family were Ulster Scots, leaving Sorbie, Wigtownshire, Scotland, in the early 1600s for County Monaghan, Ulster, N. Ireland. The came to Pennsylvania in 1731 or 1738/9 and lived in Lancaster Co. Andrew's father, William II, lived in Mecklenburg Co., NC/York Co., SC, but was in eastern TN by 1787. They belonged to the Presbyterian Church in SC.

Andrew and Mary moved to Indiana, probably Daviess Co., by 1821, the year Jonathan Hannah was born.

Unfortunately, I don't see any similar surnames in your bunch.

By the way, do you have a copy of Samuel Kelsay's will or any info on him? If so, could you please send it to me at ? Thanks. Rodney
