Eadison Kelton was the son of Robert Kelton. Robert was born in 1755, in Chester Co Pa and moved south with his parents as a young child. Roberts father was also Robert Kelton, born 1724 in Chester Co PA, son of James Kelton born 1695 in Scotland. Robert (1755) was married to Eliazbeth Wasson in Rowan Co NC on 17 Apr 1787. Besides Eadison (or Eadason) Robert's other children were: Robert Jr, Nancy, John A., there were others. This must be the same Edison you are looking for, the dates are right and their wives were both named Margaret.

In Robert's (b: 1755)Will dated 11 March 1830 the name is spelled Edison. The family lived on the Chattahoochie River, on some rich bottom land, in Hall Cty GA.
