Will the real Reuben Kemp please stand up?

I would like to end the confusion about my Great (4) Grandfather Reuben Kemp. There seems to be several people posting information on the internet stating that the Reuben Kemp who served under George Rogers Clark in the Revolutionary War is a son of Jason Kemp of Bellerica, Massachusetts. HE IS NOT THE SON OF JASON KEMP! Jason Kemp did have a son named Reuben Kemp and he was born in 1754, the same year as my Great (4) Grandfather, Reuben Kemp, but they are two different men. The Reuben Kemp who was born in Bellerica, Massachusetts in 1754 died in Windham, Connecticut and is buried in the Center Cemetery in Windham. My Great (4) Grandfather, Reuben Kemp, died in the summer of 1834 and is buried in the old Sheckell Cemetery, near Alton, Indiana. He is not a son of Jason Kemp!
