Harriet Kemp married William McLendon(MCClellan)ref.in "Screven Co. History" by Dixon Hollingsworth on page 194 in section F219."Kemp Family".Since I lost my pictures, I can not be sure of which Kemp, but know it was a well kept Church and the ? Kemp was in an above grown grave, his name was on the marbel top. When I found Harriet McClendon grave stone,it was next to the Kemp grave. Since I was just looking for McClellan and like spelling names I took a picture of both and other graves and the Church. The Church as best I can remember was very close to a paved road. One trip I made to Screven Co. from Jacksonville, Fl. I took I95 up to S.C. and took a road over to Screven Co. Ga. Is there any chance of it being in this area of S.C.? It kind of funny that I've research my line for over 30 years and kept all my research and pictures and lost this part of my history, but remember the details so well, except for the location.
