Hello Cheryl, I belong to the McClellan DNA and my line is
proven back to 1820 in Screven Co.and back to Bladen N.C. during the Rev. war where I believe some Kemp came from as well to Screven Co.,Ga.after the Rev. war.,My William McClellan married a Harriet Kemp dau.of Daniel Kemp son of Soloman Kemp in Screven Co. Ga. Harriet died at
child birth and was buried next to her Grand father I believe in Screven Co.,Ga.at child birth est.1821. I located
her grave next to an above grown grave of a Kemp and took pictures and notes but did not know of the connection at the time ( I took the picture becauses it was Harriet McClellan ( spelling was differant may have been McClendon just for future ref.,but I misplaced them/lost. The pictures was taken at a small very old Church that was well kept next to a paved road in Screven Co.Ga.( It was not the meeting house church, checked it out. If you know of any Kemp researcher in the Screven Co. that can help me please have them contact me.Cecil McClellan
