Dixon Kemp Civil War died 18 Jul 1862

I am looking for information on Dixon Kemp who died in the Civil War on 18 July 1862. He was in the 3rd Regiment, Tennessee.

I cannot find him anywhere in the census. I am looking for a KEMP soldier who died around 1862 in the war, leaving a son, Emanuel Alexander Kemp.

Thanks for anything you might know about Dixon Kemp.
