I have an extra "a "in the spelling of my name, Kenaan

My grandfather always said that when his father came from Ireland that the name was misspelled. His father was Edward Patrick and my grandfather was Daniel. Not sure exactly which part of Ireland they came from. Possibly near Antrim or Mongahan. Always wondered what the true spelling of the name is.
