In 1871 John R. Strother murdered Lewis H. Kenan (son of Augustus Holmes Kenan) in Milledgeville, Baldwin County, GA. Does anyone know if he was apprehended, tried, convicted? In 1872 the governor issued a proclamation for his capture. Thanks for all help.
