Thank you for answering so promptly, I'm delighted !!!!. My father past away when I was 17 and lost touch with his family and never knew any family history. I guess my brother and I are the only New Yorkers, you have to claim us our roots are southern. I know there is a Kenanville, NC. what is the relationship there? Why are all the Kenan's in NC or Georgia any idea how James ended up in Texas, I guess I have to get the book. Thanks again so much, if you're ever in New York, look me up.

Where are the original Kenan's from Ireland, England? When I looked on the iternet, Ellis Island.Org and believe it
or not, there are a lot of Kenan's from Syria, what's that about? I thought they were just southerners and you didn't want to claim the New Yorkers.
