HAMPTON - Helen B. O?Brien, 93, of 22 Tuck Road, died Monday, April 18, 2005, at Haven Healthcare Seacoast.

She was born Dec. 19, 1911, in Arlington, Mass., the daughter of the late James F. and Anna H. (Peterson) Kenna. She had been a Hampton resident for many years, coming from Amesbury, Mass., in the late 1960s.

She was a graduate of Mary Cliff Academy in Arlington.

Mrs. O'Brien was an executive secretary for the H.E. Harris Company of Boston, which dealt in collectable postage stamps and philatelic supplies. Earlier she spent several years as a member of the Sisters of Charity Religious Order in a convent in Kentucky.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Hampton.

The widow of Thomas X. O'Brien, who died in 1974, she is survived by several cousins.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 289 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Relatives and friends may call at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton on Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Amesbury, Mass.
