hey there ed ,I didn't think I'd get a reply so soon, very glad to hear from you. ok ed, this is what I've got. My father was born to a helen duconge(her birth name).she was married to either a john or andrew kennair about 1916-1917 because I found out that through catholic charities in new orleans that she had put her son john and daughter lucille in their home for 4 months(in 1918) ,she was listed as helen kennair. And they won't release anymore info. Now getting back to my dad he was last of 8 children , and out of all the kids she gave him up for adoption to peter and gladys pugh.the strange thing about all of this is that she also had a daugter who was suppose to be dads full sister(jeannette kennair) and she was not given up, unfortunatly she past away some time back .the last two living siblings of dads are very old and either they can't or won't speak of the paticulars of why dad was given up .all of my dads birth relatives are from the new orleans area also ,so every bit of information that we can get would come from that area. talk to you soon

peggy
