Thanks for the info. I just finished "The History of Scotts Hill, Tennessee" which I got through interlibrary loan and got reexcited about my Hugh Johnson Kennedy line. You know how we get sidetracked. Not as much about the Kennedys as I would have liked but both the Duck and Eason families are there. According to that book, many families in the community traveled together, over a 10 or 15 year span of years, from what was then Anson County, NC. My Morgans who settled in Decatur county came from that area as well. Will have to start searching Rockingham County. Would dearly love to have info on our immigrant so I could visit the place of origin in Europe before I get too old.
