Elizabeth Kennel
Albany, Oreg. – Services for Elizabeth Kennel, 84, former Idaho resident who died Thursday at an Albany hospital, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Mennonite Chuch in Nampa, with pastors Max Yoder and Robert Garber officiating.Interment will be at Kohlerlawn Cemetery.
She was born in Shickley, Neb. Jan.22, 1888.She was reared and educated there and married Jacob Kennel in November, 1906.After living in Michigan a year, they returned to Shickley where they farmed until 1930.They then moved to Liman, Colo. where they lived for five years, after which they moved to Idaho.She was a member of the First Mennonite Church in Nampa.Mr. Kennel died in 1948.
She is survived by six sons, John Kennel of Tigard, Ore., Ezra and Melvin Kennel of California, and Ervin, Jess, and Henry Kennel of Nampa; four daughters, Mary Garrison and Ruth Hunter of Kuna, Elma Anderson of Nampa, and Katy Kennel of Albany; three brothers, Jess Saltzman of Milford, Neb.; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the church from 8 to 9 p.m. Monday.

Elizabeth Kennel
Albany, Oreg. – Services for Elizabeth Kennel, 84, former Idaho resident who died in Albany, were conducted this morning at the First Mennonite Church, Nampa.
Mrs. Kennel was born Jan. 22, 1888 in Shickley, Neb. and married Jacob Kennel in November, 1905.They living in Michigan several years and returned to Shickley, where they farmed until 1931.They moved to Idaho in 1936.
Survivorsinclude 10 children; three brothers, Jess Saltzman and Alvin Saltzman of Milford, Neb., and William Saltzman of Simla, Colo.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
