Hi Andrew, Yes we do have ancestors in common. I have not been able to trace Edward Kensington's marriage to Mary Kelly nor who his parents were. Edward was a servant when he married Mary and may have come into moiney when he married his secon wife, Ann Spearing. He owned an inn called "The Sun & Lamb", near Salisbury Cathedral, which is now called Mitre House. He lived at Potterne, Wiltshire where the locan church has a monument to the Spearing family.
I did not know Edward Kensington (son of Edward K. & Sophia Brown) married & would like to know more.
