Dear Charles,
Great to hear from you. Edward Kensington(1702-1780) married twice. John & Charles are from Mary Kelly and Ann Spearing respectively. Charles K. married Louisa Delaporte 2 Jan 1773 St John Zachary with St Ann, London and had 12 children. The eldest, Louisa married (Lt. Col.) William Jephson and lived at Mallow Castle, Mallow Irelans, and corresponded with my forebears in Tasmania.
The 7th child Amelia K. married Thomas Nicholson 24 Jan 1813, St Alfege, Greenwich (my 3x great grandparents).
Thomas Nicholson was an attorney-at-law and lived at "Wallfields", Hertford, Hertfordshire. They emigrated to Tasmania in 1833 and became a barrister of the Supreme Court in Hobart.
I have much more detail and would like to know more about Edward (1702-1780) Kensington's forebears.
My e-mail address is

Regards, David Milne
