I am a descendent of this line of the Kephart family. In 1870 you will find the family in Manor Twp, Johnson Co,IA and in the 1860 census they are in College Twp., Linn Co,IA. From what I understand they moved to IA about 1854 from PA and then moved to KS around 1878-80.
